FAQ
Q: Does TICKETLY have setup fees or monthly subscription costs?
A: There are no setup fees or monthly costs/minimums, including insurance products through Ticketly. SMS marketing is an option with a nominal $19.95 fee including 500 messages allowing direct response and text marketing.
Q: Do you provide credit card processing?
A: Yes, we will provide your event with its own merchant account at no cost to you through our Stripe integration or you can connect your own account.
Q: Will my event be charged credit card processing or service fees?
A: Free events have no fees. If you charge for tickets, by default, the service fees are included in the ticket charges paid by the ticket buyer. You have the option of absorbing the merchant processing fees or passing them along to customers as well.
Q: Can we choose our own merchant processor?
A. While Ticketly is integrated with Stripe, enterprise accounts can be customized to use their preferred processor. Please contact us to discuss such needs.
Q: How much does it cost to add a seating chart?
A: If your event requires a seating chart for assigned seating, we offer a free seating chart building tool for all ticket types. If you are a large venue or working with one, we can provide a custom design for a one-time fee to build the chart.
Q: Do you offer discounts for non-profit organizations?
A: TICKETLY provides its platform at no charge to event organizers, so generally no discount is necessary. If your organization is going to absorb the service fees, please contact us to discuss a rebate program.
Q: Can I create multiple events? For example: I have a band that’s going on tour.
A: Yes, you can create as many events as you need with our unique multi-event tool. All of your event data is easily accessible in your TICKETLY account, so you don’t have to start over each time.
Q: How do I connect events I create in TICKETLY to my Website?
A: You can easily copy and past code that embeds a widget into any website so customers don't have to leave your site to see all of the ticket options and select seats, etc.
Q: I don’t have a website for my event. Will TICKETLY provide one for me?
A: The event creation wizard will take you through the steps and give you a custom URL where your ticket and information page reside. You can even insert a webchat to communicate with your customers directly from the ticket page.
Q: What kind of hardware will I need at my event’s box-office and entry points?
A: Ticketly uses no special hardware or even requires app downloads. Ticket scanning is done through any mobile device or tablet from any browser.
Q: Can I brand my event’s webpage with my own logo and colors?
A: Yes, when you are creating your account, you can upload your logo, general information and colors, which will populate for each event. Additionally, you can have multiple brands and set up events per promotion group.
Q: If I want to generate paper tickets, can your platform do that?
A: Please contact us if you wish to add paper tickets to sell outside of Ticketly. This includes individually numbered tickets.
Q: I’m going to have hats, shirts, and event souvenirs. Can I sell merchandise through TICKETLY?
A: Yes, you can create merchandise line items, donations, sponsorships in addition to unlimited ticket types.
